Day 141 of 365
"Hey Dad! Guess what Mom and I saw? A beaver! And it's name was Justin!" This is what Doogie told Doug while we were at his cub scout camping trip and Doogie and I had decided to take a walk around the pond!

Day 138 of 365
Having some snuggle time with Daddy. Cassie loves to snuggle before going to bed at night. Probably one of the few times she gets to have our undivided attention since she usually has to compete with her brothers and sisters!

Day 135 of 365
Since Ryann's birthday got cut short yesterday by the microburst (the troops were going to sing Happy Birthday to Ryann and she was going to blow out a candle in one of the deserts the girls had been in the process of making when we got hit by the storm) we celebrated it tonight after we got back. Blow out those candles and make a wish Ryann! I hope all of your dreams come true!

Day 134 of 365
Happy Birthday Ryann! Can't believe you are 7 now! I snapped this picture about an hour before we got hit with a microburst! It was crazy! Our tent blew away (a couple of times!), other people's tents were snapping like twigs (as well as the canopys). We ended up putting all the girls in one of the vehicles while the parents rushed around gathering things up and getting them packed into vehicles! Everyone from both Ryann and Jayde's troops ended up going home, we stayed only because Doug was there with the camper! It will definitely be a birthday that Ryann won't forget anytime soon! I can just hear the future campfire stories now!

Day 133 of 365
I just was loving the way the light was shining off the water, so while the girls were busy doing Girl Scout activities I snuck off to the water to snap a few shots!

What a couple of little trouble makers! They definitely keep me on my toes most days and forget about turning your back on these two!

Day 130 of 365
My goofy kids! Well the three oldest anyways! They were helping me try out one of my new props. I came across it in my parent's garage and knew I could find a fun use for it!

Day 128 of 365
Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommy's out there! I got to be a single mom for most of the weekend to 4 of the kids. Doug had taken the two oldest camping with him. But they did get back in time to celebrate Mother's Day with me. We had a good time with family over at my parents house and BBQued! We lucked out and had some nice weather as well.

Day 127 of 365
My other little soccer player! Ryann has become quite the player! She is not afraid to go after that ball even if it means getting knocked into. Doug has taken her to Jayde's soccer practices with him and she will hold her own with the older girls too. I have a feeling we are going to have two soccer stars in the family!

Day 126 of 365
My Tucker cat! Poor guy has already used up most of his nine lives at such a young age too! A couple years ago he somehow broke both of his back legs in the same spot! We are thinking that something heavy fell down on top of him (or even a garage door)! His poor front claws were all torn up like he had to pull himself out from underneath something. Luckily the vet told us that the breaks could heal on their own with no surgery, though he'll probably have a harder time when he gets older with arthritis. It's been amazing though to watch him recover. He can't really jump like the other cats can (he has to pull himself up on things) but he doesn't let it slow him down any!

Day 125 of 365
My little pack mule! CJ was helping carry Grandpa's chair back to the car after Jaxon's T-Ball game. He such a strong guy....or freakishly strong (as their Aunt Jenni always says!)

Day 124 of 365
Home sick from school today. It's no fun being woken up in the morning because your child has thrown up all over her bed! Jayde had thrown up the day before at school and came home early so she was hanging out at home as well. Doogie also ended up staying home from school, though he didn't throw up he was complaining of his stomach bothering him. So I figured knowing my luck if I send him to school I'll probably get a call to come get him! Luckily though, this yucky stomach bug seemed only be a 24 hour thing and everyone was feeling better just by the afternoon!

Day 123 of 365
I got to hang out with Doogie's class this morning on a field trip to Columbia Park for the Salmon Summit. The kids had been raising salmon in their classroom since January and today they got to release the fish into the Columbia River along with other schools in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. They each got to release one fish. We also got to go around to different booths along the park and learn about lots of different things. We were lucky to be able to see the Birds of Prey Booth since they rotate the schools around differently every year. We got to get up close to alot of wild owls, falcons and hawks. The most popular bird was of course the Bald Eagle. Her name is Patriot and though it looks like she is posing for me in this picture she was really just working on soaking up that nice sunshine!

Day 122 of 365
Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! Jaxon was very excited when one of his friends from preschool had a birthday and handed out goodie bags at school! One of the items in his bag were bubbles, so as soon as we got home from school he was out in the backyard blowing away! CJ joined in for a while as well chasing them around the yard as Jaxon blew them out!

Day 121 of 265
Since Doug was going to be at soccer practice with Jayde I got the privilege of going with Doogie's Cub Scout group on a hike up Badger Mountain. It was a beautiful day for a hike and we all got a good workout!
